A new and comprehensive survey from UK based consultancy Indigo looking at: Audience views on missing cultural events, booking tickets during lockdown, returning to live cultural events with social distancing, and experiencing culture in different formats. It is showing only 18% of UK audiences booking for events with around half of those booking for events post-November. 66% of people would return to events with social distancing in place. Covid-safe ‘kite mark’, Households seated together, Limited numbers and Seat spacing seems popular options while Masks for audiences, Unallocated seating, Restricted facilities and using Public transport seem less popular. 84% of audiences seem interested in digital culture but only 50% would pay for it. 94% are interested in culture outdoors with 75% prepared to pay. 81% of people are concerned about the future of cultural organisations but audiences expect to spend 4% more on culture in future.
